I can't believe I'm saying this

Well I've hit a bit of a wall, when confronted with a person whose faith I find inspirational I thought and thought and finally after casting many spiritual leaders aside I came to one name that I couldn't think of a disqualifying reason for. Tim Tebow former NFL quarterback and current New York Met prospect is someone whose spirituality is inspiring to me. He has incredible belief in his own abilities and gods direction for his life. Tim Tebow has dedicated a lot of his life to missions work and promoting work many missionaries do in many of the harshest conditions in the world. He has always held his faith as his primary concern and his belief is that god wants him to be an athlete so that he can continue to fulfill his mission of recruiting and raising awareness around this. Now there is always cynicism surrounding Tebow and for good reason many people use religion to mask ulterior motives and this could very well be the case but he is so persistent often with no reason to be in his instance of his goals that I tend to really believe him. I think he does feel placed on this earth by god and that he believes god wants him to be a famous athlete. I don't think his intention is wrong. I think his perception however might be. I think you could make a pretty good argument that gods given him a lot of signs that his role is not on the sports field but in doing the mission work that he champions. I felt he appealed to this question because his spirituality is persuasive. Why would god give him this natural talent to fall just short of his goals? well maybe god is mean but Tim Tebow's belief is that god wants him out there and he'll play whatever sport he needs to to accomplish that. Regardless of wether or not i believe his intentions or his interpretation he invests spirituality into everything he does and to me that aspect of him is inspirational.
